GARY + KATIE : VIRGINIA ANNIVERSARY SESSION

Katie and Gary were married five years ago. They were young and did not have official wedding photographs taken, so for their anniversary they decided to take the opportunity to get their wedding portraits. I love when couples continue to honor each other past the wedding day. The day can be beautiful, but creating a beautiful life together is truly what we should celebrate. I met these two down by the water on a sunny evening at Jones Point Park in Alexandria, Virginia, and loved every minute of working with them!

KAROLINA + GORDON: DC ELOPEMENT

Katrina and Gordon have such a romantic, love knows-no-borders love story. Katrina is Polish, and Gordon is an American. They met in Poland years ago, and eloped on the first day of Spring here in Washington, DC. In just a few months they will move to Asia together. On their wedding day, we walked around the tidal basin where the cherry blossoms were beginning to bloom, and then headed to Virginia for their sweet, intimate ceremony.
